Muscle Builder Smoothie

Bodybuilders often times supplement with protein powder, but did you know that many of those proteins come from natural sources like eggs, dairy whey, or plant sources?  There are a few reputable brands out there with minimal “other” ingredients, but all of them require additional additives to keep the powder fresh.  Try this protein packed smoothie and leave the additives on the shelf 😉

Peanut butter and banana smoothieMuscle Building Smoothie

1 banana (2.5g protein)

1/4 cup peanut butter (16.2g protein)

1 cup almond milk (1 or 2g protein)

1 tsp vanilla extract

This smoothie has roughly 20g of protein per serving!
