30 Days of Green Smoothies: Day 6

I finally cleared out the fridge from my massive fruit salad remnants :).

Today’s green juice comes from two sources, kale and a scoop of Amazing Grass Green Superfood. This is something I picked up at my local healthy grocery (Whole Foods, Earth Fare, Mustard Seed, etc or at Amazone through my link). It is packed with healthy greens that would cost a fortune to buy separately each week. They are dehydrated & ground into a powder with the live enzymes still in tack. Once opened, it must be stored in the refrigerator.

Admittedly, this is not a cheap addition to your smoothie, but it is a quick and healthy way to get some items you may not have included before. The label claims that you can achieve 5 to 9 servings of fruits an vegetables in one serving. Here is a pic of the nutritional info to see for yourself.
