30 Days of Green Smoothies: Day 17

We’re partying for my father-in-law’s 60th birthday today with an annual clambake! I’m very excited to spend a nice time with family and friends, but also know that this could be a tipping point for my healthy lifestyle.

If you’ve ever been on a diet or a meal plan, you know that life isn’t always on board with your plan. It can be difficult to make unpopular choices in the face of your peers.

As for today, I am enjoying my good old standard green smoothie, heading out for a 7 mile run, and then heading to the party with a game plan that keeps me from falling off my healthy progress while still enjoying the time with others.
